Advanced Major Project The Working Man

My Final year project is an homage to my late brother. It explores the premise that grief, whilst hidden, still endures, and is an important part of healing. It reflects on both joy and loss. Everyday objects, half-remembered holidays, family jokes, old photographs, all are altered by the loss of someone close to us. We become aware of our health and sense of mortality.We hold on to their belongings and they become totems of comfort and remembrance, raised up from the ordinary.
